Who can enter?
Anyone in a position within the broad IT Industry whom has a good story to tell.
How do you enter?
All entries are via www.itrockstar.co.nz and can be by referral (colleague, employer, friends or family) or direct entry. All entries close on the 22nd of May 2009.
Who decides the winner?
The winner will come from the shortlist of 10 finalists selected from the results of the public voting, Ninetwenty and the panel of judges. Public voting will then again be opened and the 10 finalists will be shortlisted to 5 by public vote and judge assessment. All finalists will be referenced. The top 5 will present at an evening hosted by Ninetwenty on the 4th of June 2009. A winner will be announced by the judges on that evening. No correspondence will be entered into and the judge's decision will be final.
When can I vote?
Public voting will open once the nomination(s) has been placed and will be via the IT Rockstar website. Email notification will be given to advise voting for finalist's has begun. One vote per IP address per day.
How is the prize claimed?
The winner will receive a trip to an international I.T. conference of their choice in consultation with Ninetwenty Ltd up to a value of $10,000 NZD. No cash will be provided but travel, accommodation and conference fees will be covered. Ninetwenty will organize and book all arrangements.
How do I get to the finals night?
Open invite; you can pre-register your interest with Ninetwenty and will then be notified of all the events that will be taking place during the competition.
What is the role of Ninetwenty?
Ninetwenty Career Agents are the promoter and sponsor of this competition and will not directly contact persons entering this competition for any reason outside of the IT Rockstar competition.
Do the people whom enter have any obligations?
All entries must be verifiable by reference. The top 5 finalists will need to be available for the finals evening where they will be asked to do a brief presentation and participate in a few light-hearted activities. The winner will be required to do some promotional work with Ninetwenty and blog to our site from their chosen conference.
