Rhoda was appointed  CEO of Optimation in November 2008. Optimation is one of New Zealand’s leading ICT companies, formed in 1992. The company has offices in Auckland and Wellington and delivers complex integration and custom designed development software solutions to leading enterprise and government organisations. Optimation’s partners include Microsoft, Oracle, Sun and Satyam as well as security and network specialists Checkpoint, F5 and Fortinet.

Prior to joining Opitmation, Rhoda was General Manager of Gen-i Australasia (part of the Telecom NZ Group) with responsibility for all aspects of relationship and delivery for the Groups major clients in Australia and New Zealand. Rhoda has also led the Gen-i Australia IT business and the successful re-win of the Commonwealth Bank Account - the Group’s largest client. Rhoda’ extensive experience in all aspects of customer service, network engineering and operations saw her responsible for AAPT’s Customer and Network Services and Telecom’ Network Investment teams, responsible for transforming end to end processes in order to ensure excellent Customer delivery.

Rhoda’s 21 year ICT international experience spans roles in organisations including British Telecom in the UK and Telstra/Clear in NZ.

She holds an MSC in Telecommunications Management from the University of London and tertiary qualifications in Business Administration.

Rhoda is married with two sons, and is a keen long distance runner and tri-athlete. She has just completed the 2009 Taupo Ironman and smiled all the way.
